On September 19, 2023, Professor Kouros Mohammadian, the department head from department of civil, materials, and environmental engineering of University of Illinois at Chicago visiting our Faculty. Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, Professor Ning Dezhi and deputy dean of civil engineering, Professor Zhao Tianyi participated in the reception.

At first, Prof. Ning introduced the faculty in terms of history, discipline, laboratories social service, etc. With strong emphasis on faculty team construction as well as original scientific research integrated with education, Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering has cultivated quite a lot decent students and fellows who win various national and provincial awards and undertake different key fund projects. It is striving for constructing a high-level and research-type faculty.

Then, Prof. Mohammadian introduced the exchange and degree programs in university of Illinois Chicago to our students. His presentation includes the life in Chicago, UIC and detail of UCI programs as well as how to apply.
