ICCMS 2023 has held as a hybrid one with participants from China, UK, Japan, Canada, Australia, Philippines, Morocco, Peru, and other countries shared their latest research results with the attendees. With its theme of “System Model and Computer Simulation”, “Next Generation Communication Systems and Electronic Technology”, “Resource Management and System Model in Communication Systems”, “Software Design and Information Management System”, “Modeling Methods and Analysis of Digital Systems”, the conference proved to be an exceptional platform for networking, learning, and sparking new ideas.
The conference officially began on the morning of June 17th chaired by Assoc. Prof. Guolei Tang from Dalian University of Technology presiding over the event. Assoc. Prof. Tang extended a warm welcome to all the participants and then invited Prof. Dezhi Ning, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering at Dalian University of Technology, to deliver a welcome address. On behalf of Dalian University of Technology, Prof. Ning warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and delegates, and invited everyone to visit the campus.

Afterward, Assoc. Prof. Tang invited Prof. Hongchun Qu from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications to deliver the opening remark. Prof. Qu briefly introduced ICCMS conference and expressed the hope that this conference would serve as an opportunity to strengthen the exchange and communication among scholars in the fields of computer modeling and simulation. Then Prof. Qu officially declared the conference open.

Throughout the conference attendees were immersed in a dynamic atmosphere, enriched by a wide range of activities. Prof. Jian Sun from Tongji University, China and Prof. Gabriel Wainer (SCS Fellow) from Carleton University, Canada, two keynote speakers captivated the audience with their thought-provoking speeches, offering unique perspectives on current trends and future prospects. Seven invited speakers graciously shared their fresh research concepts, discoveries, accomplishments, and perspectives with the audience.

ICCMS 2023 also showcased vibrant author sessions, where researchers and scholars exhibited their groundbreaking work, fostering knowledge exchange and inspiring intellectual discourse. Attendees engaged in fruitful discussions, exchanged ideas, and forged potential collaborations, setting the stage for future breakthroughs. The session chairs conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the papers based on their quality, originality, language expression, and presentation. As a result, six best presentations were selected.
In the awards & closing ceremony, on behalf of the organizing committee, Assoc. Prof. Dong Zhang from Dalian University of Technology, the program chair expressed the gratitude to the participants, scholars, and volunteers whose contributions were invaluable in making the conference a resounding success and congratulated to all the best presentations.
